The Bane of My Back

Well, I went to see the doctor Thursday and as I expected he told me I have another herniated (bulging) disk. As Charlie Brown so eloquently put it, "Drats!"

I will keep my fingers crossed that the muscle relaxants and anti-inflammatory medicine the good doctor prescribed will work wonders and I won't need another surgery. Of course most people would be more concerned about the injury, but my OCD side is more concerned with all of the leaves in the yard that I still haven't got around to raking.

Hey David, so sorry to hear about your challenge. Three things:

1. Sending prayers and light your way every day for this week!
2. I can really, truly recommend EFT (look at emofree.com for a free tuturial) for dealing with pain & any other physical or emotional challenges. It sounds weird, but don't let that discourage you from giving it a shot!
3. Leo Buscaglia, the most brilliant love-doctor in history, loved fall leaves so much that when the neighbours complained about him NOT raking the yard, he transferred all the leaves to his living room carpet. How cool is that?!

May this particular challenge turn into a positive experience for you. Everything for a purpose!

(: love & light

Sorry to hear about your back. I understand about not wanting more surgery. My husband had a quadruple bypass and I think he'd rather live or die with a heart attack than go through it again. I've got you on my prayer wall.

I'll pray for a big windstorm too to blow the leaves away for you.

So sorry about your back problem and I'll be sending positive thoughts your way. As for the leaves, I looked at my yard today and ALL the leaves have been blown here.

Hope you are feeling better. Of course your wife would get teary eyed. He beloved is hurting and no one can do much more than pray unless you go for that dreaded surgery. She's there watching you in pain - not an easy job!
