Thanks David! It sure has been fun and quite a learning experience.
A sad state of affairs when we have this person as Cartoonist of the Year. Then again, the Ruebens have always been about as representative of excellence in the industry as the Oscars, the Emmys, etc. Years ago, when people like Jack Kirby and Warren Kremer were kicking a** and doing their greatest work in comic books, the award for Best Comic Book Artist would go to the people drawing the Beetle Bailey comic book.
No, this is NOT "sour grapes" on my part. Just pointing out how unbalanced and limited "awards" like this are.
